Art Saint Louis is a not-for-profit visual arts co-op gallery, organization and advocate exhibiting work by established and emerging artists from the St. Louis region.

~ “Art St. Louis XXIII, The Exhibition”: mid-November, 2007-January 4, 2008. 23rd annual all media* (no web-based or cd rom) juried exhibit. Open to St. Louis regional artists 21+ residing within a 200-mile radius of St. Louis. Juried from jpegs on CD, limit 5 works created in last 2 yrs. Juror: TBA.
Deadline for images, entry form, entry fee: September 7, 2007. Entry form required--available June 2007.

A Global Eye

The Aure Foundation
Calls on Photographers from around the Globe!

The Aure Foundation is calling on photographers to submit photographs from around the world to be included in an international publication, A Global Eye. Please submit your 5-10 photographs that you would like to be considered as part of a publication along with a short preface about the picture. A jury will select the top photographs.

We are looking for pictures with a humanitarian story and theme. The photographers will be credited in the publication and receive 1 copy of the final book. The proceeds of this book will go to the Aure Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote scholarship activities around the world. We will be accepting photographs all year round until November 1, 2007 and we plan to complete this publication by December 2007 and released in time for Spring 2008.

We look forward to receiving your photographs. Please submit your digital images on a CD-Rom via email or send it to The Aure Foundation, P.O. Box 23412, St. Louis, MO 63156.

'Everyman photo contest' for amature photographers!
The cost to enter is FREE !
Limit 2 per person per catagory.

The photo does not have to be taken by you, but the photograph's author must be aware of the submission (except for the bonus category for the reasons outlined above).

NO PROFESSIONALS! (A.K.A.) Anyone who profits from their photography in any way other than photo contests.

NO PHOTOSHOPPING or other digital manipulation. this contest is about photography, not about one's expertise with a graphical application.

Three photos will be selected from each of the following categories:
1. black & white
2. landscape/nature
3. people/portrait
4. travel/architecture
5. macro/abstract
6. from the attic (see web site below for description for details)

Prizes per catagory
First Place: $50.00
Second Place: $30.00
Third Place: $20.00
